Kenya Operations

The Kenyan health ministry, hospital officials, and network of parents all asked Santhosh the same question: What can we do to make Kenya cleft-free? The northern regions of Kenya are in desperate straits with no health care resources, and extreme poverty. The human slave trade is active in Kenya, and these economic situations make children born with facial birth defects ripe prey to the traffickers.

Under the leadership of Salome Wambui, Isaac Makena, Elizabeth Njorge, Kalvin Njorege and Pastor Charles Odhiambo, Love Without Reason, Kenya was formed.

The first LWR mission to Kenya was held in the city of Nakuru under the leadership of Apostle Peter Chacha. Over a span of five days in the first week of August 2018, there were a total of 77 patients screened by the medical team and 41 successful operations were completed. The second mission was held in February 2020, there were a total of nearly 300 patients screened by the team and 75 successful operations were completed.

Let’s continue the work, Until The World is Cleft Free!
