Disaster Relief Management
“Some of the first responders to natural disasters are human traffickers” – Susan Mathews, co-founder of Love Without Reason
The vision of Love Without Reason is to fight human trafficking, to prevent it and to end it before it starts. When disaster strikes, parents are separated from children, the elderly are left alone, and there is opportunity for the vulnerable to be preyed on by evil predators and sold as slaves into bonded labor, beggary or other trafficking networks.
Love Without Reason began the disaster relief efforts during the heavy floods in the state of Kerala, India with partnerships of teams on the ground distributing clean water and food.
In 2020, following the global pandemic and shutdown of economies, our leadership and partners in Zimbabwe, Kenya, India and Bangladesh reached out with hampers of food that was distributed to over 4,000 individuals.
Thank you to our partners at Children’s Network International, Revival Ministries International, and the YMCA. With partnerships, the reach and the impact go far in the developing world.
