Philipians Circle - One Child, One Smile, One Gift at a Time
On July 27th, Philip Mathews would have turned 25. Though his time on earth was short, his life continues to impact thousands. Born with craniofacial differences, Philip inspired a movement — a mission to ensure no child ever suffers in silence because of a cleft lip, cleft palate, or other facial anomaly. Today, his legacy lives on through the Philipians Circle — a community of monthly givers who carry that mission forward, one smile at a time.
Love Without Reason prevents human trafficking by providing transformative cleft surgeries and fights sex trafficking through education, empowerment and innovative solutions. Over 1000 free cleft surgeries have been provided for individuals from 3 months of age to 80 years of age. Over 6000 women in the red-light areas have received education and training, and over 300 women and children were rescued from sex trafficking. Using innovative solutions such as the Set Free Pads, leadership training and conferences, and clean water wells provides holistic care to men, women and children.
